Northland’s Response

Several -inquiries have already been received in Whangarei regarding recruiting in the new Territorial Forces, while special interest has been displayed in Dargaville and Kaitaia, where a number of men are offering.

At Dargaville, a number of men of the age of about 30 are offering themselves as Territorials as an example to the younger men, and in order to explain what will be required of them Captain H. G. Wooller, of the New Zealand Staff Corps at Whangarei, will attend 'a meeting in Dargaville tonight
