Cuff-Links May Be At A Premium

Drapers have not yet felt the full effect of the import restrictions. In a few months’ time, however, it is expected that certain lines of im■ported made-up goods and imported accessories will be difficult to secure. Goods most affected will be those generally classified as jewellery, including such dressing table ornaments as studs, tie-pins, cuff-links, etc. It is the belief of local drapers that there will be no serious effect except in these lines, provided New Zealand factories can fill the gap left by the banning of certain imported made-up apparel.
