[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] HAMILTON. This Day. The Waikato Trotting Club’s winter meeting was held at Claudelands on Saturday. The totalisator handled £27,762, compared with £18,972 last year, an increase of £8790. Our Summer created a fresh trade record for the mile saddle when lie won the Visitors’ Handicap, covering the distance in 2.11.
