To Race at Awapuni. Since racing last week, Rehearsal, Homily and- Entail have not been asked to do anything of a serious nature, but all three are in. great heart, Rehearsal especially looking improved. They are to''race at Awapuni this week, and between them they should earn more stake money. Entail and Homily and both entered for the Winter Cup next Friday, but it is intended to start only Entail in that event. Homily- is to bo kept for the second day. Progress of Baldric. When Baldric fell in the Autumn Steeplechase at Ellerslie on Easter Monday, he injured one of his knees, and as a result he has not been required to do a great deal in the meantime. The injury is yielding to treatment, and he has been pottering about on the lead with a view to more serious tasks in preparation for meetings ahead. He is one of the most promising young, steeplechasers produced at Ellerslie fqr some time, and he is a genuine, stayer, who may have to bo reckoned with in the Great Northern Steeplechase.
