Kitchen Evening

A kitchen evening was held on Monday night at the residence of Miss Lasca Lloyd in honour of Miss Frances Findlay, whose marriage takes

place next month. Miss Findlay was the recipient of many useful gifts for the kitchen, and all the best wishes. A. happy evening was spent playing Newmarket and Mah Jongg. During the evening a presentation was made to Miss R. Lawrie, who leaves this week for Warkworth. Noticed enjoying a delicious supper around a cheery fire were: Mesdames D. Roberts, R. Morgan, S. Clark, and Misses F. Findlay, R. Lawrie, J. Geisder, J. Peters, P. Hendy, M. Simmons P. Cronin, P. Horrobin, and E. Simmons.
