Miniature Rifle Club Dance

The dancing season is now well into

its swing. The Minature Rifle Club Dance held on Tuesday evening was full proof when merrymakers packed the hall to dance to excellent music.

After supper Mr. A. J. Murdoch on behalf of the club issued an invitation to the Territorials in camp to attend the opening shoot. Mr. A. Higgins and Mr. K. Wright were M. C’s. Winners of the Monte Carlo were Miss Joyce Robinson and Mr Phil Sparks. Among those present were: Mesdames A. J. Murdoch, black accord tan pleated georgette; Allan Higgins, parma violet georgette; W. Durham, white lace, black coatee; Alex Christie, ivory lace and satin; J. H. Ashton, black with gold trimmings; A. Robertson, black velvet. Misses:- V. Adlam, embossed crepe; N. Noble, white lace over satin, green sash; M. Bradshaw, red crepe with white coatee Phyllis Thompson, baby blue taffeta and silver; Joyce Robinson, cyclamen taffeta;. M. Cullen, pink taffeta; Florance Ware, green taffeta with London tan accessories; Barbara Bowers, cyclamen taffeta with silver lame trimmings; Patricia Lilley, mauve figured crepe with bolero coatee; Hazel Clarke, cerise net over satin; B. Fisher, pink charmeuse marocain; May McDonald, lemon satin; Thora McKay, floral primrose georgette; Jean Webb, pale green taffeta, gold trimmings; E.
