Messrs Seawood and Chaney, who have been visiting Kaikohe, have returned to Auckland. Coming-Qf-Age Party A large number of relatives and friends met at the. residence of Mrs D'Ewes at a dinner to celebrate the coming-of-age of her daughter Molly. The tables were well laden, and later Miss D'Ewes cut the decorated birthday cake. Mr Smith proposed the toast of the principal guest who replied and was accorded musical honours. Mrs A. Edwards also spoke of her popularity among Kaikohe's younger set. During the dinner Miss D'Ewes wished Miss Shirley Sanders, whose birthday fell on the same day, many happy returns.

An enjoyable evening closed with community singing.
