Visitors To Whangarei

Messrs J. W. Heenan, Under-Secre-tary of Internal Affairs, A. W. Mulligan, general secretary to the Centennial Branch of the Department of Internal Affairs, B. C. Ashwin, secretary to the Treasury, T. Marks, Public Service Commissioner, and Wauchop, Director of National Pageantry, are visiting various centres in the North, and will arrive in Whangarei on Saturday afternoon to attend the meeting of the Auckland Provincial Council in the evening.

The whole of the executive of Zone A Centennial Committee are to be the guests of Sir Ernest Davis, Mayor of Auckland, at dinner at the Commercial Hotel, Whangarei, on Saturday evening, at 7 o’clock.
