Report Repudiated

[Per Press Association. Copyright J WELLINGTON, This Day. The New Zealand Federation of Electricians’ Associations advises that the motion accredited to the Hawke s Bay branch of the Electrical Workers’ Association, which was reported to have urged the Government “to take a stand and treat the British Medical Association in the same manner as strikers in any other industry,” was not carried by the Plawke’s Bay branch.

It is stated that at no time has the Hawke’s Bay branch of the association discussed or passed any motion dealing with the dispute between the Government and the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association. The organisation is said to be strictly nonpolitical, and in no way connected with the body referred to in a recent message from Hastings.
