Kaikohe Croquet Season Closes

Despite the . inclemency of the weather, the official closing of the Kaikohe Croquet Club’s season was successfully held on Saturday. Mrs N. G. McLebn was presented with both the Match Cup (donated by the secretary,. Mrs H. Ingram), and the Ladder Cup (donated by Mrs H. Dawson, of Kawakaw'a). Mrs Ingram was club runner-up.

A bring-and-buy sale was herd in the pavilion, and Miss D. Morfette won the cake raffle.

A number of competitions and novelty items had been arranged for the afternoon ( but had to be cancelled on account of the rain.
