Late Rates At Maungakaramea
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited report holding a stock sale at Maungakaramea, when the entry was up to normal, although comprised chiefly of boners, which sold at late rates. Practically everything was disposed of. Best dairy cows and heifers made from £4 10/ to £55/; others £4 to £4 10/; light fat cows, £4 to £5; lightweights, £3 10/ to £4; best boner cows, £2 15/ to £3 2/6; lighter, 30/ to 40/.; Jersey heifer calves, 27/6 to 34/; bulls, £6 to £7 10/.
