One Killed, Two Injured When Car Leaves Road

[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] HAMILTON. This Day. One man was killed and two others were seriously injured early yesterday morning, when a tourer car left the road between Waerenga and Te Kauvvhata and turned several somersaults. Details are.— Killed. Mr Lloyd Berrick, of Waerenga. Injured. Mr Tony Alexander, aged 18, a farm hand, employed by Mr Souter, of Waerenga; condition serious. Mr Ernest George, of Waerenga, whose parents live in Mt. Eden; head injuries: condition serious.

It is understood the driver was dazzled when the lights of the car shone into a pool of water on the road. Mr Berrick was killed instantly.
