Incendiarism Theory Stronger

(Independent Cable Service) PARIS, April 21

The, theory that the fire in the liner Paris was due to incendiarism is growing stronger. Members of the liner’s crew state that a small fire started in the bakery, another broke out rapidly two decks higher up, and a third in the tearoom much further forward, and five decks higher. The masts of the Paris have been cut off to enable the Normandie, which was in dry dock at Le Havre at the time of the fire, to clear the harbour, says a United Press Association message.
