Protestants Create Scene In Edinburgh
(Received 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, April 21
The police ejected a number of members of the Protestant Action Society for a disturbance at the ceremony for the conferring of the Freedom of Edinburgh on the United States Ambassador, Mr J. P. Kennedy.
Shouts of protest at the moment of conferment were drowned by the organist striking up the “StarSpangled Banner.” Mr Kennedy is a Roman Catholic.
