Sudden Death During Honeymoon
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND. This Day. Married only six days ago, a young man, Mr Leonard Alan John Walker, aged 28, died suddenly yesterday while on his honeymoon at Waiheke. Mr Walker resided in Verdon Street, To Rapa. He had been married at Hamilton only six days ago. After the body had been brought to Auckland by launch, an inquest was opened before Mr W. R. McKean, S.M., and was adjourned.
