Mrs. Long’s Birthday Celebrated

For many years it has been a happy custom for friends of Mrs H. E. Long, Bank Street, to mark the occasion of her birthday with .a little celebration. This year was no exception. Friends met at the home of Mrs W. J. Orr, and a pleasant social afternoon was spent. The guest of honour was presented with beautiful bouquets, and a suitable gift to mark the occasion, and she returned feeling thanks. A delicious afternoon tea was supplemented with the traditional birthday cake, and so passed a happy occasion which it is hoped would be the forerunner of many more.
