At its first annual meeting, the Whangarei Young Businessmen’s Club decided to change its name to the Whangarei Junior Chamber of Commerce. Visit To Aerodrome,

A visit to the Onerahi aerodrome when it was at a particularly interesting stage of construction had been arranged for the club by the Public Works Department engineer, Mr R. H. Packwood. The Whangarei Chamber of Commerce has invited the club to send two delegates to its executive meetings. These delegates are to be Messrs Abel and Cameron. The Officers.

Election of officers resulted: President, Mr R. Johnstone; vice-president, Mr R. B, Finch; secretary and treasurer,, Mr L. G. Lovatt; committee, Messrs N. Armit, J. Crosby, A. Hawthorne, F. N.
