■Excellent conditions obtained on the Kensington Croquet Club’s greens yesterday when a, series of club competition games was played. Results were: Championship singles: Mrs A. C. Smeaton beat Mrs Woodbridge; Mrs J. Reynolds beat Mrs Woodbridge; Mrs W. Calder beat Mrs J. Reynolds; Mrs S. Simons beat Mrs J. Reynolds; Mrs May beat Mrs J. Neale. Handicap doubles: Mrs J. Courtney .and Mrs S. Fulljames beat Mrs Stringer and Mrs Neale; Mrs Stringer and Mrs Neale beat Mrs P. Durham and Mrs H. Adams; Mrs Stringer and Mrs Neale beat Mrs J. Sanders and Mrs J. Maclean; Mrs Nisbet and Mrs Horner beat Mrs Johnston and Mrs Barriball; Mrs Nisbet and Mrs Horner beat Mrs Durham and Mrs Adams; Mrs Nisbet and Mrs Horner beat Mrs Lett and Mrs Andi’ews.
