Poor Sportsmanship Alleged

(Received 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.

Mr F. Empson, manager of the Australian 18-footer team in New Zealand, has submitted his report to the New South Wales 18-Footers’ League. He said: “It was a pity that the New Zealand skippers who caused the little bad feeling by what we thought was poor sportsmanship in protesting were allowed to get away with it to a certain extent. This was the only discordant note throughout the tour.” Mr Empson recommended a continuation of the races against New Zealand.
