Waiotira Stock Sale Values
Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report having held a sale at Waiotira on Tuesday, when there was a good yarding. Grown, two and three-year-old cattle were hard to quit. Fat cattle and boners sold readily at late rates.
Springing cows, £5 5/ to £6; springing heifers, £3 12/6 to £5 5/; boner bulls, £3 15/ to £7 15/, according to weight; fat heifers, £5 5/ to £6; medium fat cows, £5 to £5 10/; fat steers, light weight, to £8 10/; good boners, to £3 10/; light and thinner conditioned, to £2; well-bred three-year-old steers, £6 to £7 10 three-vcar-old Jersey cross steers. £5 to £5 10 '; Hereford and Polled Angus heifers, r.w.b., to £5 10/; Hereford cows, r.w.b., to £6; Shorthorn steer calves, small, 32/-; Shorthorn heifer calves, small, 25/- to 28/-.
