Pakotai Sheep Fair Prices
The North Auckland Farmers’ Co-op. Ltd. reports a fair yarding at its Pakotai sheep fair yesterday, competition being not so brisk as at the previous Pakotai fair. Practically everything changed hands. Quotations: Twotooth wethers, 23/3 to 24,'-; four and six-tooth ewes, 22/6; five and six-year-old ewes. 15/6 to 17/-; aged ewes. 12/3 to 14 6; cull ewes. 7'- to 10/9; shorn wether iambs, 8 '- to 8/7: medium size. 6/6 to 7/3; small lambs. 5'6 to 6/1; aged Romney rams, 10/6 to 1J gns.; aged Southdown rams, 15 / - to 25/*.
