The same firm reporting on their Kaeo sale, state that the entry of sheep was not large, and although competition was less keen than at previous s?des a total clearance was effected. There was a large entry of cattle, comprised chiefly of boners, for which a steady demand existed, and practically everything was sold. Sheep: Two-tooth wethers, 12/6 to 15/; lambs, mixed sex, 9/ to 9/4; full mouth ewes, 6/3 to 8/6. Cattle: Fat coloured bullocks, £7 10/to £9 5/; light fat cows, £4 10/ to £5 5/; good boners, £2 12/6 to £3 TO/; potting cows. 30/ to 35/; boner bulls, £5 to £7 10/.
