Royalty’s Interest In Dominions
(Received 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, February 20. In the background of one photograph were the King and herself at Canberra, recalling their tour. Visiting the New Zealand section, the Queen told Mr W. J. Jordan, High Commissioner, that she always used New Zealand rugs, and occasionally wore New Zealand gloves.
