WRECKAGE BURNED. —Burning the wreckage of a lifeboat after it had been dashed ashore in a storm at Godrevy Rock, St. Ives, Cornwall, on January 28. Only one of the crew survived. The bow of the boat bore her name, “John and Sarah . Eliza Stych,” and the stern, “Padstow No. 1 Life Boat.”
