National Bacon Titles: Judging At Feilding

The first of eight preliminary judgi'ngs in various districts participating in the National Bacon Pig Championship takes place at the Feilding A. and P, Show tomorrow and Wednesday, January 31 and February 1. In order to be present at the judging, Mr C. P.' Butler, secretary of the Whangarei A. and P. Society, left Whangarei last evening. Entries from the Manawatu district will be judged at the Feilding Show, and, in common with those from other districts, the best pigs will be purchased by the Whangarei society, converted into bacon, and assembled for the final judging at the Whangarei Winter Exhibition at the end of June.
