Yachts Torn From Moorings At Onerahi

When the rough weather on the Whangarei harbour was at it's height early this morning, the 14-foot yacht Sea Foam broke away from its moorings at Onerahi, and has not yet been recovered. , . The Sea Foam, which is owned by Mr. Angus Henderson, of Whangarei, is presumed to have been torn from its anchorage at about 1.30 this morning. ' 5 The wind was blowing strongly from the south-east, and, with the outgoing tide, it is considered that the little vessel would be carried across the harbour in the direction of Otaika.
