Miss Rose Dixon, Te Awanmtu, arrived in Hikurangi last Saturday to spend her annual holidays with her mother, Mrs R. A. Dixon, Otonga. Mr and Mrs G. D, Lawrie and family left on Monday after spending five weeks as the guest of: Mrs Dixon. Miss Thornton and Messrs Pat and Emmett Thornton, To Kuiti, are the guests of their aunt, Mrs J. Hamilton, Valley Road. Miss Lorna Scott is holidaying in Auckland.
Miss Esma Marcroft is the guest of Mrs J. McKenzie, Jordan Road.
Mr M. J. Baxter is holidaying with his mother at Hikurangi.
Mr and Mrs A. M. Bradburn and family returned last Sunday from Auckland.
Miss B. Hallet and Mr J. Baxter, Te Awamutu, are spending a holiday with Mr Baxter’s parents, Mr and Mrs J. Baxter, senr., George Street.
Miss Grace Boswell, teacher at the Waitakaruru School, returned last Friday after having attended summer school at Napier.
Mr J. Fyfe is enjoying his annual holidays at Rotorua,
Miss Margaret Ross, teacher at Kerikeri School, who has "been holidaying at Takapuna, returned to Hikurangi on Monday and will be the guest of her mother, Mrs J. Ross, before proceeding to Kerikeri next Monday.
Mr and Mrs C. B. Gager returned today from Auckland, accompanied by their son, Mr R. Gager, who will spend a vacation in Hikurangi.
Mr Archie Crozier, of the Te Karae School, is holidaying at Whananaki.
Mrs Ball, of Auckland, and her tws children, are the guests of Mr and Mrs E. O’Callaghan, ,
Among those returning from holidays at Whananaki are: Mrs Ward and family, Mrs Lloyd and family, Mrs Baxter and family, Mrs McLeod and family. Mrs Boswell and family.
