Gdod-conditioned coloured killable steers made from £7 4/ to £8 3/; good coloured fat cows, £5 17/ to £6 10/; medium weight Shorthorn cows, £4 19/ to £5 15/; fat Jersey cows, £4 15/ to £4 19/; light killable Jersey cows, £4 15/ to £4 19/; heavy boners, £3 17/6 to £4 5/; medium boners, £3 7/ to £3 16/; light boners, £2 14/ to £3 5/; low-conditioned boners, £1 15/ to £3 10/; Hereford cows, calves at foot, good condition, £7 10/; coloured cows and calves, £3 7/ to £5 9/.
The North Auckland Farmers’ Cooperative Ltd. reports that competition Was on a par with late rates at its Mangawhare sale. Springing heifers made £4 10/ to £6 11/; Jersey cows, close to profit, £4 to £5; medium cow beef, £5 6/ to £6 5/; lighter cow beef, £4 5/ to £5; heavy boners, £3 10/ to £4 5/; lighter boners, £2 to £3 5/; canner cows, £1 to £1 15/; heavy potter bulls, £6 10/ to £8 5/; lighter, £4 10/ to £5 10/; small light bulls, £1 to £2 10/.
