Good Programme for Awanui Sports
Awanui will be en fete on Saturday next when the Awanui Athletic Sports Club will hold its annual fixture. The arrangements this year have been in the hands of a very active committee headed by Mr. A. R. Smith as president, with Mr. N. McDonald secretary. The programme is a comprehensive one, and in addition to novelty and children’s events, includes athletics, cycling and chops.
