Fat Cows Admired At Waiotira
A beautiful line of fat black polled cows was greatly admired by buyers at the North Auckland Farmers’ Co-op. sale at Waiotira yestchday. There was only a small yarding of general stock, but this particular line came in for much favourable comment. The cows made £9, £8 15/, £8 7/6, and £7 15. They were fattened by Mr. E. A. Cliff, Waiotira. The top pen was purchased by Messrs Timewell and King, Whangarei, Other fat cows made from £7 to £7 10/; fresh condition, £4 to £4 2/6; bener cows, heavy. £3 15/ to £4 1; medium, £2 10/ to £2 15/; light. 35/ to £2 4'; boner bulls, medium. £5 15/.
