Sheep Fair At Kaikohe
Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report a good yarding at their Kaikohe Sheep Fair. Buyers were present from as far south as the Waikato, bidding being keen and late rates being fully maintained. Good fat wethers brought 16/9 to 17/7; lighter, 13/10 to 15/; fat ew.es, 12/ to 13/; two-tooth ewes, 19/ to 21/3; aged ewes, 5/6 to 6/; sound mouthed ewes, 9/ to 10/6; shorn wether lambs, 9/4 to 10/7; smaller sorts, 6/ tp 7/; ewe lambs, small. 6/2 to 7/.
