CPer Press Association. Copyriglitl WELLINGTON, This Day. The Centennial Exhibition will be opened at Rorigotai, Wellington, on November 8 of this year, by Viscount Galway, the Governor-General. The general manager of the exhibition, Mr. C. P. Hainsworth, said yesterday that an invitation was extended to Lord Galway by the Exhibition Director# as soon as the' date for the opening ceremony was decided upon at a recent, meeting'* of the board. A letter was received yesterday from the Military Secretary to His Excellency stating that the GovernorGeneral would accept the invitation. The official opening of the exhibition be one of the most spectacular, as well as one of the first of the Centennial celebrations at Wellington.
