Jones Wins Under Electric Light

Sixteen pairs took part in a tournament under electric lights on the Whangarei Bowling Club's greens last night, Waipu and Kensington being included among the players. Mild weather and the absence of dew provided ideal bowling conditions. . 1 r* !

The semi-finals resulted: J. and F. Jones beat Nesbit and Gribble, 8-rG; J. Gibbs and Dr. Campbell beat Beaton and Wilding, 3—2. In the final, of seven heads, Jones beat Campbell, 7—5.
