AUCKLAND. This Day. A salvage sale, on behalf of the underwriters, of goods dajnaged by fire On the' steamer Rimutaka attracted about 300 buyers today. They were mostly dealers and small, shopkeepers, Opening bids were moderate, but dealers quickly responded to competition, especially for forthcoming winter requirements, such as fur lined coats for women and small winter hats.
