Motorists, Beware Of Faulty Parking

[Per Press Association. Copyright'.'] WELLINGTON, This Day.

“You are just starting to take proceedings in these cases?” asked Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., when the police prosecutor was describing how a motorist had obstructed a footpath by parking his car so that the rear portion extended over the kerb. The answer was in the affirmative, with an explanation, that warning notices on cars did not reach the majority, and the prosecution was brought with a view to drawing the attention of motorists to the matter. A conviction was entered with the payment of costs.
