Plane Equipment Below U.S. Standards

WASHINGTON, January 22,
Imperial Airways failure to equip the Cavalier with the standard American equipment for heating, carburettors and thus preventing icing up, has been reported to the Civil Aeronautics Authority.
The report will be investigated when- Imperial Airways’ application for a certificate, enabling them to continue using an American airport for the service to Bermuda, is considered.
