(Received 2 p.m.) - SYDNEY, This Day.

As a result of the settlement of the Port Kembla pig iron dispute, a Federal proclamation has been issued withdrawing the application of licenses at Port Kembla,

The steamer, Dalfram, which figured largely in the Port Kembla dispute now settled, arrived at Sydney today for docking and cleaning- consequent upon her two months’ idleness, and will return to Port Kembla tomorrow to load the pig iron. It is estimated that the strike, which involved over 3000 steel workers cost the men £250,000. Three weeks must elapse before the steel works will be in full operation and at maximum production.
