Jap. Shaving Brushes To Be Confiscated

(Received 2 p.m.) OTTAWA, January 23. The Government has ordered the confiscation throughout Canada of all Japanese shaving brushes. This action is the result of the death from anthrax of a man living in Dakota, United States. The brush used has been traced to a shipment from Tokio to New York, part of which was sent to Canada and distributed widely. Invoking the health regulations, the Government has made the sale of these brushes a criminal offence.
