In Wrong Street.
A story which rivals the many told about the absent-minded professor is recounted of a motorist who visited Hamilton during the holidays. A complete stranger to the town, he had parked his dar outside an hotel in the borough and gone inside for some minutes. Quite unwittingly he left the hotel by another entrance, and, not realising he was on a different street, immediately assumed that his car was missing. Without wasting a second he immediately informed the police, only to discover that the bar was still where he had left it.
