Saturday’s Mud-Play
Most unfavourable weather conditions prevailed at the Reclamation Ground on Saturday. Three games were in progress—a Senior A and Senior B representative contest, a Senior B competition game between Portland and Lovatts, and a junior competition game between Nomads and Hikurangf. Periodic stoppages were necessary on account of heavy downpours of rain, and for the latter half of the afternoon all. three wickets were In a very bad state. However, no games were abandoned before clear decisions had been arrived at.
