Nomads Colts ijuniors* failed to come level with Hikurangi’s 142, Then' tally when time was called being five for 86. Given lime, they showed promise cf battling their way through to the winning figure. Outstanding performances wove the 45 and 46 recorded
by Bennett and Piekorell in Hikurangi’s first innings. Both these men batted in flashing style, Bennett being almost reckless in his enthusiasm for runs. Parkes was the mainstay of Nomads’ replj r , his 43 being 50 per cent, of the team's grand total.
