Mangonui Traffic Offences
For failing to carry a warrant of fitness, fines were imposed in the Mangonui Police Court as follows:—Ron- j aid Andrew and David Archibald. | senr., 10/- and costs; Edward M. Cave. B. Emil Hansen. James Henare, Errol j Jameson, Tom Wallace, Alan Leach, | John O’Sullivan, Ewbank Parker, Ar- ! thur Porter, Roy Perkins, Vernon Edward Reed, Hazel White and Mate Urlich, £1 .and costs; and John Nich-1 olas Lupis was convicted and ordered j to pay 12/- costs. I George Hutley, who had failed within seven days after the sale of a ! motor vehicle, to notify the deputy registrar of the fact of the sale, was fined 10/-. with 15/- costs. No Number Plates. Sam Paul was fined 10/- and costs 15 - for using a motor vehicle without a number plate, and 10/-, with 1 costs 10/-, for parking outside the j white line in Commerce Street. : Harry Henry, for operating a heavy ! motor vehicle without a heavy traffic j license, was lined £1 with costs 15'-. Cyclist Fined. Dave Walters, charged with having; failed to keep as near as practicable to j the left-hand side of the road when j riding a bicycle, was fined 10/- and j j costs 15'-. It was stated that de- j | for.dam was carrying another boy on ; j his bicycle, and was on the wrong | side of the road when he met a motor j truck. A collision occurred, and the | boy he was carrying had his thigh i fractured.
