Fair Conditions For Week-End Shoot
Conditions were fair when the members of the Whangarei Defence Rifle Club were at the range on Sunday. The light was changeable, and a light, but variable, wind was blowing. Results ,at the different ranges were; —W. Boreham, 50 at 300 yards, 47 at 300 yards, 49 at 500 yards, 46 at 600 yards; W, Norris 49, 46, 48, 45; J. H. Ashton 47, 44, 50, 47; J. Norris 46, 46, 44, 43; R. H. Allan 45, 45 (both at 300); G. Neville 45, 47 (both at 300); F. Thackeray 41, 41, 49 (did not shoot at 600); S. Woods 39 (at 300 yards); J. Litchfield 38, 40, 47, 45; D. Boreham 38, 37 (both at 300); M. K. Stewart 36, 43, 44, 47; E. A. Foote 41 (at 300 yards), 50 (at 500), 43 (at 600); Snow 39 (at 300).
