Germany Changes Course
LONDON, December 17.
After three years of concentration upon armaments, Germany is slackening these activities, and is switching over to the neglected transport tem, where military needs will not be overlooked, says the Berlin correspondent of the British United Press. It is stated that the Reich does not wish to over-accumulate arms, which might be out of date in two years, but will mantain her aircraft output, in which she is able to out-build any other three nations.
Germany’s foreign trade shows an adverse balance for November of £6,000,000. Exports dropped by £3,000,000, and imports by £333,000. The adverse balance for the 11 months is £17,000,000.
