Walter Wakelin reports having held his monthly sale at Ruakaka yesterday, when fully the advertised numbers of cattle and pigs came forward. Competition was keen and a total clearance was effected. Fat and forward Jersey cows made from £4 to £4/10/-; boner cows, £3 to £3/10/-; boner bulls, £4 to £5; dairy cows, in milk, £4 to £5/5/-; 2 : year Hereford heifers, £3/776 to £3/16/-; porkers, ■ £2/2/- to £2/6/-; sows to farrow, £2 to £2/5/-; slips, £l/2/- to 30/-; weaners. 16/- to £l/1/,
