Waiotira School’s Successful Show

Parents and friends were present in large numbers at the Waiotira School Flower Show.

Mr. A. Stephen,, in presenting the prizes, expressed pleasure at the manner in which the children had improved during the year, the handcraft being particularly creditable.

The show was held in beautiful weather and was an outstanding success. Results were:—

Champion bloom: Miss J. Mason 1, Billy Moore 2. Collection of sweet-peas, any variety: Miss J. Mason 1, D. Jones 2. Sweet-pea collection: J. Mason 1, D. Jones 2.
