Calves At Tangiteroria

Twelve ■ calves were brought forward by a school with a roll number of only 16 when the Tangiteroria North calf club parade was held yesterday. The judge presented a halter to Rachel Nathan for- the best handled calf.

On behalf of the Whangarei Calf Club Executive, an offer was made to donate a halter for the best handled calf in 1939. Results.—

Calf rearing, senior: Rachel Nathan 1, Susan Davis and Rupert Davis, equal, 2; Tuhi Davis and. Annie Nathan, ‘equal, 3. Calf rearing, junior: Trevor Davis 1, Paul Davis and Teddy Nathan, equal, 2; Clem Davis 3. Certificates of merit were awarded to: Ruth Tuhiwai, Thomas Nathan and Dorothy Davis.
