R.A.F. Bomber Forced Down

(Received 12.30 p.m.) DARWIN, This .Day. One of the three R.A.F. Vickers* Wellesley bombers which recently broke the world's long distance record was damaged in a forced landing in mountainous country near Collier Bay, West Australia, about 130 miles northeast of Derby. Advice has been received that the crew is unhurt. A second bomber dropped food, and a ground party has been organised at Derby.
