Prior to his leaving Whangarei to take up a position in Auckland, his many friends arranged several farewell parties for Mr F. G 'JTill. • * * * The Anal event was held in Warrington’s studio. During the evening a presentation was made on behalf of the company to the singing of “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow.” Mr Hill suitably replied. a * * iy A dainty supper was served and a very pleasant evening was brought to a close with the singing of “Auld Lang Sync.” ««* i c After spending several 'weeks visiting Melbourne, Sydney and Australia’s capital, Miss Dorothy Papkes returned to Whangarei last week.*
