In perfect Weather conditions, the Northland Banks’ Annual Golf Tournament was held on the Kaikohe links on Monday. Competitors were present from Auckland. Kaitaia, Rawene, and Kawakawa, and the fixture, which is increasing in popularity among the banking fraternity each year, was one- of the most successful that has. been organised. Results of the matches were as fol-lows:—36-holo. medal handicap for Northland Bankers’ Cup: A. White, 142 (net); D. Law, 149. 18-hole medal handicap: J. Crawley 68, A. White 72. 18-holc Stapleford bogey: D. Law 34 points, A. Podevin 33 points. 9-hole eclectic: B. Tyrrell, 34. Teams’ match: R. DeCosta, L. Taylor, A. White.
